MEET THE DESIGNER

I am a Paris-based designer creating visual worlds inspired by history, nature, and craftsmanship. Working across graphics, packaging, textiles, objects, and storytelling, I transform cultural references into contemporary forms that feel both timeless and personal.
From hand-tufted carpets and silk scarves to watches, lighting concepts, and luxury packaging, each project begins with a narrative and evolves into a complete material experience.
Design Approach
CONTINUØUS | Watch

Axis of Ra is the first chapter of CONTINUØUS, an independent watch brand exploring how historical methods of timekeeping can become contemporary design objects.
Inspired by ancient Egyptian shadow clocks and obelisks, the watch translates time through light, space, and proportion. From early research and concept sketches to the finished prototype, the project developed into a complete brand experience, including watch design, visual identity, packaging, website, campaign imagery, and social media.

CONTINUØUS extends across multiple timepieces, each developed as part of a larger cultural design project where history, symbolism, material, and craftsmanship come together in contemporary form.
CONTINUØUS also includes the creative direction of a professional campaign photoshoot in Paris, collaborating with models and photographers, extending the watches into a wider visual world of storytelling, atmosphere, and luxury presentation.
CONTINUØUS | Accessories
Veil of Ra translates the colours of sunrise and twilight into wearable silk compositions, drawing inspiration from the shifting light of the Egyptian desert. The Day and Night editions reinterpret the passage of time through colour, geometry, and movement.

REVERSE RANGAKU | Interior Collection

Reverse Rangaku is a Japanese-inspired product collection exploring the quiet balance between nature, architecture, and material culture.
Spanning carpets, lighting, furniture, and interior objects, the collection translates Japanese landscapes and architectural rhythm into contemporary forms through material exploration, craftsmanship, and visual storytelling.

In collaboration with TextielLab, the professional workshop of the TextielMuseum, the Wandering Hills carpet was hand-tufted with refined precision.
Smooth wool gradients and sculpted height differences create a natural landscape, leading the eye toward Mount Fuji in the distance.
Carpet samples made in collaboration with Shaggies Amsterdam.

Reminiscent of the traditional Japanese wooden houses, the Moetatsu table uses this centuries-old architecture as its source of inspiration. As commonly known, wooden houses, mainly in the bigger cities, are l'll-fated to be lit on fire.
Shou Sugi Ban translating to Burned Cedar is a Japanese technique to preserve wood and prevent it from easily catching fire. The imperfections that occurred because of the flames make it rough around the edges, which creates a more lived-in look.
These Furniture Concepts explore the intersection of Japanese temple architecture and Frank Lloyd Wright’s design philosophy.
Developed as a series of 3D models, the project translates layered timber construction, rhythmic proportions, and architectural detailing into contemporary furniture concepts that celebrate craftsmanship, balance, and material honesty.

Capsule Lamp is a modular lighting concept inspired by the architecture of the Nakagin Capsule Tower. The project reinterprets the iconic capsule modules as illuminated building blocks, exploring flexibility, repetition, and the relationship between architecture and product design.
Through a system of interchangeable light modules, the concept translates the Metabolist vision of adaptable living into a contemporary lighting object that celebrates modularity, playfulness, and Japanese design heritage.

The modular system also allows additional capsule units to be stacked vertically, enabling the lamp to grow and adapt to different spaces.

CHILDHOOD REIMAGINED | Wearable Collection

Childhood Reimagined is a personal fashion project that reinterprets drawings from my youth as contemporary garments. Original illustrations were translated into simplified vector graphics and embroidered textile elements, transforming nostalgic memories into bold compositions that celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of childhood imagination.

STUDIOS | Design Experience
K-3 (by Kenzo Takada)
Full-Time
January 2025 - April 2026
At K-3, I contributed to creative development across Design Week events, textile concepts, catalogues, packaging, and visual communication. My work included supporting statement pieces and concept layouts, reinterpreting existing graphics into new colour and material directions, and designing event materials such as folders, tote bags, multilingual invitations, and digital banners.
I also supported digital catalogue and website product management, ensuring visual consistency across print and online platforms, while creating presentation decks and communication assets using Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint.

Design Week / Events
Supported the creative preparation of K-3’s Milan and Paris Design Week presentations, as well as Maison & Objet showcases.
Collaborated with the design team on statement pieces, concept layouts, textile developments, and presentation materials, shaping the brand’s event identity.

Textile Development
Developed textile concepts by translating existing graphics into new patterns, colour palettes, and material applications. Worked closely with designers and manufacturers to support upcoming collections while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.

Catalogue & Packaging

Designed catalogues, packaging, and event materials, including presentation folders, textile tote bags, and printed collateral. Coordinated production, test prints, and layout refinements to ensure consistency across the brand.

Visual Communication & Presentations

Marcel Wanders Studio
Full-Time (Internship)
February 2022 - May 2022
During my internship at Marcel Wanders Studio, I assisted in diverse design projects spanning interior, product, and branding design, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on luxury and hospitality clients.
I contributed to the Kimpton BEM Budapest Hotel project, supporting the development of the entrance canopy and gold-and-black wallpaper concepts. I also participated in branding projects for Decorté, preparing mood boards, packaging visuals, and themed stationery designs.
My work included design research, drafting illustrations and patterns, and preparing presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Miro.
Key clients included Louis Vuitton, Moooi, Decorté, Natuzzi, Baccarat, Randstad, KLM, and KAY Sake.

Key clients include:

KAY Sake
Assisted in branding and visual development for KAY Sake, supporting Photoshop refinements of the logo and creating an embossed glass effect for presentation visuals. I also participated in the visual development process, observing how atmospheric product imagery and brand storytelling were translated into refined client-facing concepts.

Kimpton BEM Budapest Hotel
During my internship at Marcel Wanders Studio, I contributed to the Kimpton BEM Budapest Hotel project in two areas: the entrance canopy and the gold-and-black wallpaper concept.
I participated in the design team developing the hotel’s entrance canopy, ensuring it complemented the existing door design and overall architectural expression. I also supported the graphic design team on the wallpaper concept, contributing selected additions to the final visual language.
This project gave me valuable experience in hospitality design and showed how architectural, graphic, and decorative elements come together to create a cohesive luxury environment.

During my internship at Marcel Wanders Studio, I was involved in branding work for Decorté, a long-term Japanese cosmetics client of the studio.
I contributed to The Flower Journey concept through Photoshop support, water-ink flower drawings, and visual development for the floral and map-inspired background. I also supported related branding materials, including mood boards, packaging visuals, themed cards, and printed collateral.
This project gave me experience in luxury cosmetics branding, where illustration, packaging, texture, and storytelling come together in a refined visual world.
BOOKS | Design Archive

Design Books
I enjoy documenting my design journey through handcrafted books, each dedicated to a different project or chapter of my career. Every volume is individually designed, hand-bound, and produced with its own layout, materials, and character, from large-format A3 editions with gilded pages and handcrafted details to smaller project books. Together, they form a physical archive of my work and creative development.
